BASIC ELEMENTS OF VISUAL REPRESENTATION
The Dot:

• Dot:it is the smallest and most simple element in art expression.Its first target is to indicate a position since it doesn´t follow any direction.It may have different qualities such as size, shape and colour.
• The dot 3-D capacity:when the size, shapes and colours are changed, the dots can create visual sensations of spacial deepness and volume.
• The dot expressive capacity:the point has an unlimited capacity to represent images and to express ideas and emotions.To do so,visual effects are used.
• Optical mix:when colours are mixed with the help distance.Point isn´t mixed on the paletter or on the painting.The optical mix was used first by the pointillists.

                             This is my pet project. It´s a butterfly. I had a great time doing it.

 ART GUIDELINES: 

• On a DIN A4 worksheet, you draw your favourite pet or animal. (Remember to do the drawing very large)
• The next step is to make triangles on the entire sheet, including the drawing of the pet or animal.
• The following is to draw parallel lines inside each triangle and in each triangle the parallels lines must go in different directions.
• You can use different colours for each triangle.
• You can also put parallel lines together or apart to create different effects.
• Show your teacher your project before presenting in the classroom in order to check possible mistakes.
